To pick up a vehicle from a scrapyard, you usually need: the vehicle registration certificate, the vehicle inspection card, and an identification document (DNI, NIE, passport). If any documentation is missing, present the corresponding missing form.

To arrange for your car to be picked up at a scrapyard, follow these steps:

If the owner has died:

1. Vehicle registration and technical inspection card.
2. Responsible declaration form signed by the heir, without completing the "environmental treatment" section.

If the vehicle you need to deregister is registered in the name of a company, association or entity, you must present both the identification documentation of the car and the documents that prove the relationship between the person requesting the deregistration and the entity that owns the vehicle.

For companies, the following is required:

1. Vehicle documents: registration certificate and technical inspection card.
2. Legal representation form signed and stamped by the administrator. If the administrator cannot be present, another person must be authorized on the same form.
3. Electronic deregistration request.
4. Photocopy of the company's CIF.
5. Photocopy of the DNI or NIE of the administrator and, if necessary, of the authorized person.
6. If you do not have the car's documentation, you must submit the Loss Form for companies and, if there is no stamp, the Company Form without a stamp.
